Send me your most memorable experience at a New York sporting event as a fan and I'll post the best ones. You can check out my list under Stuart's Most Memorable.

• I was at the 7th game of the Knicks-Lakers NBA finals in 1970. We slept overnight at the Garden to get these tickets. Willis Reed came out a minute before game time and the moment he came out the fans went into a frenzy which lasted most of the game. Reed made his first 2 shots and the team played an unbelievable game and I have never heard as much noise at an event as I did that night.

• October 16, 2003: Holding a 5-2 lead in the eighth inning of Game 7 at Yankee Stadium, Red Sox manager Grady Little leaves starter Pedro Martinez on the mound. Martinez proceeds to give up four hits and three runs in the inning, allowing the Yankees to tie the game. In the bottom of the eleventh inning, leadoff hitter Aaron Boone hits a solo home run off of Tim Wakefield ending the game and the series, giving the Yankees their 39th American League pennant. Now, besides the joy and drama of victory, this is my favorite moment because I then took a trip to visit friends in New Hampshire and gloat while hearing Red Sox fans mumble ‘Aaron F’n Boone’ all weekend. It was magnificent.

• The best game I went to was this year's comeback win
on August 22 against St. Louis when they were losing in the bottom of the ninth but Carlos Beltran hit a two-run homer to win it. Who knew, he should have saved it for Game 7
(NOTE FROM STUART: That game also featured Carlos Delgado's 400th career homer, off Jeff Weaver, and the Mets touched Adam Wainright for a run too. Ironically, Aaron Heilman got the win.)
